If you want to set up Time Sensitive alerts for your most important iPhone apps, follow these steps:
- Go to the Settings app.
- Tap on Notifications.
- Choose the app you want to modify.
- Make sure that Allow Notifications is turned on.
- Turn on Time Sensitive Notifications under Always Deliver Immediately.
Once the feature is enabled, any alerts considered time-sensitive will be immediately sent and should stay on your iPhone’s lock screen for an hour. If you don’t see the Time Sensitive Notifications option, it means the app you’ve selected isn’t designed to send urgent alerts.
While you’re on an iPhone app’s notifications settings page, you can also customize the app’s alert style to suit your preferences. Choose from Lock Screen, Notification Center, Banners, or all three if you don’t want to miss any of the app’s notifications. Alternatively, select only Notification Center, and if available, disable Sounds and Badges if you prefer quiet notifications.
