Purchasing this edition includes a chance to participate in a two-person entry to a one-day off-road adventure. The adventure takes place during the 2023 North American Defender Trophy Competition in Austin, Texas. Starting on October 29, 2023, participants can put their off-road skills to the test while experiencing teamwork and camaraderie.
The winning team of the North American Trophy Competition will be rewarded with a four-day Adventure Travel experience in South Africa. This journey will take them through iconic pathways and dunes in the Erongo Mountains and Spitzcoppe Peaks. The newly designed Defender Trophy Logo captures the contemporary and adventurous spirit of the Defender, appealing to modern-day explorers.
The Defender Trophy Edition is designed to tackle the most demanding endurance challenges. It is equipped with features such as an electronic winch, front and rear mud flaps, wheel arch protection, tow hitch receiver, and off-road packs, ensuring its readiness for any adventure.
Only 220 of these adventure-inspired vehicles will be sold exclusively in the U.S., with an additional 10 available in Canada. The Defender Trophy Edition is priced at $103,000 (before destination and delivery) and will be available for purchase in August.
