2024 Lexus IS: Design Upgrades and Higher Price

The 2024 Lexus IS has reached its tenth year on the US market in its current form. While it boasts a significantly sleeker appearance compared to its 2014 iteration, there are no major changes for the upcoming model year. However, there are some visual enhancements and an increase in price across the range.

One of the notable updates is the introduction of the F Sport Design grade for the base IS 300 model. This includes exterior enhancements like 19-inch wheels and special badges. Meanwhile, the IS 300 F Sport variant receives the same visual upgrades along with additional features such as heated and ventilated front seats, aluminum pedals, and a heated steering wheel with F Sport branding. Despite these changes, the powertrain options remain unchanged – the IS 300 is still offered with either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in rear-wheel drive configuration or a 3.5-liter V6 engine in all-wheel drive setup.

The driver combines exhilarating acceleration runs from a standstill with daring high-speed attempts. However, due to heavy semi-truck traffic on the autobahn that day, the driver is forced to ease off the throttle multiple times. Eventually, a clear stretch of road presents itself, allowing the driver to push the Alfa Romeo 4C to its limits.
