In October 13, 2023, MV Agusta introduced its latest limited-edition motorcycle, the MV Agusta Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the company’s first-ever motorcycle. To understand the significance, let’s take a closer look at both bikes.

In 1943, during a time when personal transportation was challenging due to the war, Domenico Agusta believed that a motorized two-wheeled vehicle could offer a practical solution. The result was the MV Agusta 98cc single-cylinder motorcycle. However, it was only after the war that full-scale production began.

The 1945 MV Agusta 98 featured a striking burgundy color, which inspired the design of the 2023 Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata. Only 300 of these bikes will be produced and sold worldwide, primarily to the brand’s loyal collectors.

The 2024 MV Agusta Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata features a unique color known as Rosso Verghera. This color is hand-applied in multiple phases to enhance its metallic sparkle. It is a color developed exclusively for MV Agusta, using advanced materials and techniques.

MV Agusta is well-known for its limited edition motorcycles, and as customary for these special models, the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata comes with a certificate of authenticity, a number plaque, and a special Race Kit box upon purchase.

The Race Kit includes a tailor-made cover for the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata, a tail cover, the certificate of authenticity, a track-use-only Arrow racing exhaust, and a dedicated racing engine control unit (ECU).

It’s worth noting that customers in North America will not receive the Arrow race exhaust in the box. Instead, it is available as a separate Technical Accessory that can be purchased at an additional cost directly from MV Agusta.
