HJC Releases New Joker Graphic for RPHA 1 Helmet

HJC, a renowned helmet brand, has introduced a new graphic option for their RPHA 1 helmet, also known as the RPHA 1N in the United States. This latest design showcases the iconic smile of Batman’s archenemy, the Joker, and is featured on HJC’s top-quality, FIM-Homologated lid.

HJC is widely recognized for its collaborations with various entities, ranging from Marvel Comics to professional racers like Fabio Quartararo, as well as major companies such as Red Bull. In addition to these partnerships, HJC is also known for its collaborations with DC Comics, incorporating characters from the DC universe into their helmet designs, including the villains.

The Joker first appeared on an HJC helmet three years ago with the release of the RPHA 11, their top-of-the-line sport helmet. Now, HJC presents another special graphic featuring the Joker, this time on the RPHA 1 model. The RPHA 1 helmet has received positive reviews for its sporty and aerodynamic profile, solid construction, and exceptional graphic designs.

The HJC RPHA 1 is FIM-Certified and ECE 22.06 approved, making it suitable for racing purposes. It features HJC’s Premium Integrated Matrix Plus shell, which utilizes Carbon and Carbon-Glass Hybrid fabrics to provide excellent protection. The helmet is equipped with the Advanced Channelling Ventilation System (ACS) to prevent visor fogging, as well as a Pinlock 120 Max Vision insert included in the package.

The helmet includes several additional features, such as an optional clear spoiler, quick-drying cool-comfort lining, emergency-release cheek pads, speaker pockets for communication systems, and eyeglass channels. It also comes with tear-off films included, allowing riders to start racing immediately upon receiving the helmet.

Currently, HJC Europe has set the suggested retail price for this helmet at 999 EUR, which equates to approximately $1,060 USD using the current exchange rate. Although the price may seem steep for a helmet, it is reasonable considering the quality of the model and the special Joker graphic. Perhaps in the future, HJC will release a graphic featuring Batman to complete the pair.

The HJC RPHA 12 Is Finally Out And Official Online

The HJC RPHA 12 has finally been released and is now available online. HJC Europe has listed the helmet on their website, complete with a 360-degree view and different versions including a carbon option and various graphics.

Fans of the brand may already own the RPHA 11, which is known for its value for money. However, the new RPHA 12 offers several improvements and updates over its predecessor. The shell of the RPHA 12 features the Premium Integrated Matrix Evo (PIM-Evo) construction, which improves shock resistance, comfort, and lightness compared to the previous generation of HJC helmets.

The shape of the shell is similar to the RPHA 11, with triangular intake vents in the same locations. However, there are key upgrades and tweaks that make the RPHA 12 better on paper. One notable improvement is the new HJ-42 visor with a Pivot Ratchet mechanism, which provides enhanced movement and sealing.

The venting system has also been updated, with an updated chin, forehead, and brow vent. However, the helmet loses some exhaust vents that were present in the RPHA 11. Overall, there are four intake vents and three exhaust vents in the RPHA 12. The helmet also has a spoiler, which has been slightly updated and tweaked, and a claimed aerodynamic shell structure for optimal performance at high speeds.

Other features of the RPHA 12 include a wide eye port, an emergency release cheek pad system, an interior with advanced anti-bacterial fabric and moisture-wicking properties. In addition, the helmet comes with a free Pinlock 120 anti-fog insert, a dark smoke visor, a chin curtain, and a breath deflector.

The price of the RPHA 12 starts at 479.90 EUR for solid colors, 549.90 EUR for graphics, and 629.90 EUR for the carbon version. Currently, there are four graphic options available: Ottin, Lawin, Spasso, and Enoth. More graphics are expected to be released in the future, including licensed designs.

Availability of the RPHA 12 in the U.S. is still limited, with only solid color options currently available for purchase from online retailers. The helmet is priced at $479.99 USD.

Overall, the HJC RPHA 12 offers several improvements over its predecessor, making it an appealing option for motorcycle riders.
