Since then, the C40 Recharge has received over 100 bookings. Volvo has now increased the price of its all-electric SUV-coupe by Rs 1.70 lakh, bringing the new price to Rs 62.95 lakh. Battery & Range

Volvo C40 Recharge

The Volvo C40 Recharge uses the same 78kWh battery pack as the XC40 Recharge, but offers a higher WLTP-claimed range of 530km, compared to the XC40 Recharge’s claimed range of 418km. This is due to the improved energy efficiency of the battery pack and the sleeker, more aerodynamic design of the C40 Recharge.

This battery pack is paired with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) dual motor setup, producing 408PS and 660Nm of torque. With these performance figures, the C40 Recharge can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.7 seconds.

The C40 Recharge supports 150kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 27 minutes. Volvo also provides an 11kW AC charger for regular charging.
