TONY CAIROLI AND KTM PART WAYS

In a surprising turn of events, Tony Cairoli and Red Bull KTM have announced their professional separation after a longstanding collaboration of over a decade. Cairoli, an accomplished motocross racer who transitioned into a successful team manager, had seemed destined to continue his future with KTM. However, both parties have now decided to pursue new professional goals for 2024. Below is the official statement from KTM:

A long and fruitful relationship between KTM and Tony Cairoli will come to an end this year as they go their separate ways. They part on good terms, with both wishing each other the best in their future endeavors.

Cairoli, who hails from Sicily, joined Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in late 2009. He made an immediate impact in his first season in 2010 by winning the MX1 (now ‘MXGP’) title with the KTM 350 SX-F. He then went on to win an additional four consecutive titles. In 2017, Cairoli secured the championship with the KTM 450 SX-F. Throughout his twelve-year tenure, he has been a well-respected ambassador for the team, the company, and the sport, retiring from Grand Prix racing at the end of 2021.

After retiring from racing, Cairoli took on the role of Team Manager for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in 2023. However, he has now decided to explore a different path in his post-racing career.

KTM, together with everyone at the Pierer Mobility Group, expresses their gratitude to Tony for his energy, excellence, and the unforgettable motocross memories he has created.

2024 Skoda Enyaq RS: Increased Power and Extended Range

Skoda is making significant improvements to the Enyaq Coupe RS, the high-performance electric SUV, less than two years after its initial release in January 2022. Recently, Skoda introduced the Enyaq RS in October 2022, making it the newest variant of the model. In October 2023, both models receive important upgrades: more power and additional range.

The 2024 model year has arrived in the United Kingdom, boasting a substantial increase in horsepower. The dual motors now produce a combined 335 hp, resulting in an even more powerful Skoda model and surpassing the upcoming 261-hp 2024 Superb. With this added electric power, the Enyaq RS can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just five and a half seconds, a full second faster than before.
