Pagani Huayra R Evo Gets Pop-Out Roof Panels And A 900-HP V12

Pagani on Thursday revealed new supercar known as the Huayra R Evo, a brand new, much more ferocious model of the Huayra R observe automobile that launched in 2021. Pagani has made a number of enhancements to the mannequin whereas giving it pop-out roof panels that enhance the automobile’s aerodynamic downforce when eliminated.

The automobile packs an up to date model of the Huayra R’s naturally aspirated, 6.0-liter V12 engine known as the V12 R-Evo. It makes 900 horsepower and 567 pounds-feet (770 Newton-meters) of torque, a rise of fifty and 14 (20), respectively. The additional ponies comes from a brand new trumpet design for the consumption manifold, new camshafts, and a tweaked exhaust system.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is the most powerful naturally aspirated Coyote V8 in any ‘Stang, and Ford claims it is the most track-capable version of the seventh-generation Mustang to date. Now, Ford Racing has unveiled the new Dark Horse R, a turn-key race car designed for buyers who want to spend their weekends on the track.

The Ford Mustang Dark Horse R retains many of the elements that make the standard Dark Horse great, but with specific racing cues for track use.

The engine is the same naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 found in the road-going version, but it has been tweaked to produce “500+ horsepower.” The powertrain also includes an upgraded oil system, transmission cooling, differential cooling, a Borla racing exhaust system, and a fuel cell for added safety and capacity.

The Dark Horse R features the same six-speed manual transmission and Brembo brakes as the base Dark Horse model. Visually, the exterior is very similar, with the exception of a few necessary tow hooks and smaller 19-inch wheels wrapped in racing slicks.

To enhance on-track performance, Ford has made significant tweaks to the Dark Horse R. It features Multimatic DSSV racing dampers, adjustable anti-roll bars, and adjustable front camber plates. Inside, all creature comforts have been removed in favor of a full racing cabin, which includes a roll cage, Recaro racing seats, a Sparco racing harness, and a removable Sparco steering wheel.

Buyers who manage to get their hands on a limited Dark Horse R will also have the opportunity to compete in the Mustang Challenge, a new single-make racing series organized by Ford Performance Racing School. This IMSA-sanctioned series will have a 10- to 12-race calendar on five or six yet-to-be-named tracks in North America, starting in 2024.

The Ford Mustang Dark Horse R comes with a price tag of $145,000 and deliveries are expected to begin in 2024, just in time for the first Mustang Challenge races.
