The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is set to launch in India on August 9, and the German carmaker is now accepting orders. The luxury SUV can be booked for a token amount of Rs 1.5 lakh and will come in two variants: GLC 300 4MATIC and GLC 220d 4MATIC. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming new-generation GLC.
Design Changes
The 2023 Mercedes GLC follows the design language of the latest C-Class sedan. Although its basic shape remains the same, there are some changes in the details. The grille now has a single chrome element, and the headlamps, DRLs, and tail lamps have become sleeker. The new generation GLC also comes with a new set of alloy wheels.
Features
The cabin of the new-generation GLC has undergone significant changes. It features a sloped dashboard that merges into the center console, from which a vertically placed 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system rises. The 12.3-inch digital driver’s display is a free-standing unit, located below the top edge of the dashboard. The cabin also incorporates typical Mercedes-Benz styling elements such as turbine-styled AC vents and neatly integrated ambient lighting strips, creating a plush atmosphere.
