Stuntman Sets Guinness Record Driving Truck On Side Wheels Through Tight Gap

A stuntman from Italy has recently made history by setting a new Guinness World Record. Marco Davide Giony, 43 years old, showcased his exceptional driving skills by performing a daring side-wheelie stunt with a large truck. This incredible feat was witnessed by a live television audience as Marco successfully maneuvered the truck through a narrow gap while balanced on its side wheels. The gap measured 12 feet 5 inches in width, and Marco maintained the side wheelie for a distance of 32.8 feet. His extraordinary achievement has officially earned him a place in the Guinness World Records book.

Marco faced several challenges on his journey to the world record. During his initial attempts, unexpected obstacles led to difficulties in maintaining control of the truck. On his first official try, Marco struggled to keep the truck balanced and veered dangerously to the left, knocking over the side barriers. In the second attempt, he overcompensated and veered too far to the right, once again causing the barriers to collapse.

It was on his third and final attempt that Marco proved his skill and determination. He expertly guided the truck through the narrow gap, successfully landing it back on all four wheels. After the remarkable achievement, Marco expressed his excitement and adrenaline rush. He even shared the stage with his son, whom he is mentoring to become a stuntman and record breaker like himself.

Marco Davide Giony now joins the ranks of other awe-inspiring side-wheelie record holders. Sun Jinguo from China holds the record for driving through the tightest gap with a tractor unit on its side wheels, measuring an astonishingly precise 3 feet and 3 inches in 2013. In 2016, Alastair Moffatt from the UK set the record for driving a car on two wheels through the narrowest gap ever, a mere 17.52 inches wide.
