New Akrapovič Slip-On Exhausts For Honda CB750 Hornet And XL750 Transalp

Akrapovič has introduced two new slip-on exhaust options for Honda enthusiasts, specifically designed for the Honda XL750 Transalp and the Honda CB750 Hornet. The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust for the XL750 Transalp features a black-coated outer sleeve, a lightweight titanium construction, and a stainless steel connecting pipe. The Slip-On Line (Carbon) exhaust for the CB750 Hornet is handcrafted with a carbon fiber outer muffler sleeve, a stainless steel inner frame, and a titanium end cap.

These aftermarket exhaust options offer significant performance enhancements, particularly in the medium to high rev ranges. The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust provides a power boost of 0.7 kW and a torque increase of 0.9 lb-ft at 5,700 rpm compared to the stock exhaust system. The Slip-On Line (Carbon) exhaust offers an increase of 0.5 kW and 0.42 lb-ft of torque at 5,250 rpm and 5,300 rpm, respectively.

In addition to performance improvements, both exhaust options reduce weight compared to the stock systems. The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust achieves a 39.8% weight reduction, shedding 3.5 pounds, while the Slip-On Line (Carbon) exhaust achieves a 45.6% weight reduction, trimming down by 3.9 pounds.

Installation of these CE/ECE-approved Euro 5 slip-on exhaust systems is hassle-free and does not require remapping. They provide a deep, sporty sound and are fully compatible with Honda’s original soft cases.
