The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato was launched in India in December 2022. The carmaker had limited the production to just 1,499 units worldwide. After almost a year, the first unit of the off-road-spec sports car has been delivered in India. Here is what it offers:

Tweaked Design

The overall design of the Huracan Sterrato is similar to the standard Huracan, but it has some beefier and off-road-ready design changes. It features LED auxiliary lights mounted below the bonnet line. The design changes also include flared wheel arches, new alloy wheels, beefier side skirts, roof rails, and a roof scoop.

Sporty Cabin

Inside the Huracan Sterrato, the cabin layout is the same as the standard Huracan. It features an ‘Alcantara Verde’ upholstery and Sterrato-specific graphics in the digital driver’s display. The displays now also show off-road information such as a digital inclinometer, compass, geographic coordinate indicator, and a steering angle indicator. The Huracan Sterrato is equipped with connected car tech and Amazon-Alexa connectivity.

Rally-ready Performance

The final pure ICE (internal combustion engine) offering from Lamborghini is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 petrol engine that produces 610PS and 560Nm of torque. It is equipped with an all-wheel-drive setup and can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.4 seconds. It has a top speed of 260kmph and features a “Rally” mode specifically for low traction conditions.

To make the Sterrato suitable for dirt roads, its ground clearance has been increased by 44mm, and its front and rear tracks have been increased by 30mm and 34mm, respectively. It also features an aluminium front underbody, reinforced sills, and sturdy wheel arches for added protection. 

Price & Rivals

The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is priced at Rs 4.61 crore (ex-showroom) and directly competes with the Porsche 911 Dakar edition, which has not been confirmed for India.
