In Europe, scooters are very popular due to their light weight, accessibility, and affordability. While Vespas, Lambrettas, and other classic scooters are favored by enthusiasts, practical scooters have their own following among commuters. Kymco, a popular scooter brand, has updated its popular Downtown series for the 2024 model-year.

The Downtown scooter will be available in two versions for the European market in 2024 – 125 and 350. The smaller one targets beginner riders with A1 licenses, while the 350 appeals to A2 license holders and those seeking a practical all-rounder with highway capability.

Kymco states that the seats have been improved for increased comfort during longer rides.

Aside from the styling changes, the new Kymco Downtown scooters will also receive technological updates. Both versions will come with a large, full-color TFT display and a keyless ignition system for quick and convenient stops and starts.
