The Kia EV5 is a new pure-electric SUV from Kia. It made its debut at the Chengdu motor show in China. It is likely to be based on the same E-GMP platform as the Kia EV6, making it suitable for the Indian market as well.

The Design

Kia EV5

The EV5 follows the ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, similar to its larger sibling, the EV9. It has bold lines, a sleek tiger-nose grille, and Kia’s Signature 3D Star Map Lighting and DRLs. The profile features 21-inch alloy wheels and a lower window line that ascends towards the D-pillar. Rugged design elements like cladding and skid plates enhance its SUV credentials. The rear has a lowered roof spoiler that improves aerodynamic efficiency.
