Aston Martin has announced that it will be making history once again by entering a racing prototype version of its ultimate hypercar, the Valkyrie, in the renowned 24 Hours of Le Mans competition in 2025. This significant decision has been made possible with the support and partnership of Heart of Racing (HoR), Aston Martin’s championship-winning endurance racing partner.

Aston Martin plans to enter at least one Valkyrie race car in the Hypercar class of both the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championships (IMSA) starting from 2025. This ambitious venture will showcase the Valkyrie prototype’s capabilities in three of the most prestigious events in motorsport racing: the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, and the 12 Hours of Sebring.
