Today, Alfa Romeo is launching a new supercar, which is a rare occurrence. The details of this mysterious model have been kept secret, but now the time has come to unveil it. You can watch the live debut here, starting at 11:00 AM Eastern Time or 5:00 PM Central European Summer Time.

Although information about this new supercar has been closely guarded, there have been rumors circulating for some time. These rumors suggested that the car might pay homage to the beautiful and incredibly rare 33 Stradale from the late 1960s. Interestingly, the car was reportedly almost sold out even before receiving official approval from Stellantis. However, in July, Alfa CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato confirmed that the car would make its debut on August 30, and that day has arrived.

We have also seen a few official teaser images, which are shown above along with an unofficial rendering by Motor1.com of how the car might look. It is believed that the car will be based on the Maserati MC20, which is already a capable supercar. However, with Alfa Romeo designers at work, we can expect a fresh body with retro elements. The car might be called the 6C or 33. Under the hood, behind the cockpit, the Maserati twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine will reportedly receive a significant hybrid boost with at least one electric motor, if not two. If the rumors are accurate, the output could reach 800 horsepower.

We won’t know for certain until the covers are lifted, but there are two things we can expect. First, this new Alfa Romeo will be extremely rare, with only 33 units rumored to be built. Second, it will come with an extremely high price tag, likely in the seven-figure range. However, if it is already sold out, the actual price may remain unknown.
