KTM has announced that the 2024 model of its 390 Adventure will be available with two new color options. Unlike the 2023 update, which added suspension adjustability among other rider-focused features, the 2024 version will focus solely on new paint and graphics.

The Engine

The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure is equipped with a four-stroke, 373.2cc single-cylinder engine that delivers a claimed 32 kilowatts (about 42.9 horsepower) and 37 newton-meters (about 27.2 pound-feet) of torque. The engine has a bore and stroke of 89mm by 60mm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a PASC antihopping clutch. While an up-and-down quickshifter is not included as standard, it is available as an accessory. The current engine is compliant with Euro Five regulations.

Chassis

The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure features a steel trellis frame and a removable subframe with just four screws. It is equipped with WP Apex suspension on both ends, consisting of a 43mm front fork and a WP Apex monoshock at the rear. The suspension offers standard rebound and compression adjustability.

For braking, the 2024 390 Adventure comes with a 320mm single disc setup in the front and a 230mm single disc setup in the rear. It also features two-channel, lean-angle-sensitive ABS and traction control as standard.

Depending on the version of the 390 Adventure, you can choose between 19-inch and 17-inch cast wheels. Heavy-duty spoked wheels are also available for those seeking a more adventurous riding experience. If you don’t see your preferred wheel type at your local KTM dealership, be sure to ask.

Additional Features

The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure boasts a 3.8-gallon fuel tank, providing an estimated range of 248 miles on a single fill-up. However, actual range may vary depending on riding style. The adjustable rally-style windscreen offers a slim profile and can be positioned to the rider’s preference.

Inside the cockpit, the 2024 390 Adventure comes with a 5-inch full-color TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity. By using the KTM Connect app, riders can connect their smartphones to access music, phone calls, messaging, navigation, and more directly through the TFT display. The 390 Adventure also features an Offroad Mode that allows rear wheel slip when riding off-road. LED headlights, bodywork, and an engine guard are all standard features as well.

Colors, Availability, and Pricing

The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure will be available in two color combinations worldwide. The first is an orange and black color scheme, which is typical of KTM motorcycles. The second option is a gray and white color scheme. Keep in mind that colors, pricing, and availability may vary depending on your region.
