Yamaha Ténéré Travel Trophy 2023 Welcomed Over 100 Riders In Europe

In 2023, Yamaha Europe hosted the Ténéré Travel Trophy, a weeklong journey across France, Andorra, and Spain, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Yamaha Ténéré. Over 100 riders gathered to participate in this inaugural event, which allowed riders to choose between off-road and on-road experiences based on their preferences. Each day of the event featured travel stages, giving riders the freedom to decide how they wanted to tackle them. Some riders preferred a quick and efficient approach, while others took the time to appreciate the sights and surroundings along the way. The event aimed to create a sense of camaraderie and fun, similar to a rally, without the stress of racing. Riders could compete for different tasks and points, but stage times were not officially recorded. Accommodation options at the nightly bivouac included camping in a tent or booking a room. The bivouac experience, referred to as Ténéré Town, added an extra charm to the event. Yamaha Europe plans to continue hosting the Ténéré Travel Trophy in the future. If you had the opportunity, would you participate in this unique adventure? Let us know in the comments!

The completion of the Ténéré Travel Trophy 2023 was the main goal of the event. However, participants could also vie for the title of the number one Ténéré Traveler by earning points through different tasks along the way. Yamaha Europe aimed to provide participants with a challenging and enjoyable experience, allowing them to complete each day’s ride at their own pace. While riders could set their own personal times, the event organizers did not officially record stage times. At the bivouac each night, riders had the option to camp in a tent or book a room for a comfortable indoor stay. The bivouac experience, known as Ténéré Town, added an extra touch of charm for the Ténéré owners participating in the event.
