Skoda has launched the matte edition of the Skoda Slavia sedan. This edition is based on the top-spec Style variant of the car. The matte edition offers the same features as the regular version, but with a matte paint finish. The pricing for the matte edition starts at Rs 15.52 lakh, which is Rs 40,000 more than the regular Style variant.

The matte edition of the Skoda Slavia is available in a shade called Carbon Steel matte grey. The exterior design remains the same, with the door handles and beltline retaining a chrome finish. The interior of the matte edition features a black and beige dashboard and now includes a 10-inch touchscreen system. Additionally, the top-spec Style variant offers electrically adjustable driver’s and co-driver’s seats, as well as footwell illumination.
The Skoda Slavia matte edition comes with several features, including an 8-inch digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, and cruise control. It also offers safety features like up to six airbags, hill-hold assist, a rear parking camera, electronic stability control (ESC), and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The matte edition of the Skoda Slavia is available with both 1-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine options. The 1-litre engine produces 115PS of power and 178Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre engine generates 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. Both engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission for the 1-litre engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for the 1.5-litre engine.
The Skoda Slavia is priced between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 19.12 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). Its competitors include the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
