A unique electric guitar has been created, drawing inspiration from the design of the McLaren Speedtail XP2 prototype. Crafted by David Gordon Guitars in Miami, Florida, this instrument was showcased at the 2023 National Association of Music Merchants show. The guitar incorporates various styling elements from the hypercar, resulting in a sleek and distinctive design.

The guitar’s body is constructed using lightweight alder wood, accompanied by a master-grade flamed maple neck. Additionally, it features a lower horn made from aircraft-grade aluminum and an ebony fretboard. The exterior paint of the XP2, known as Saragon Quartz, played a role in influencing the finish of the guitar. According to David Gordon, the talented luthier and owner of David Gordon Guitars, the supercar served as the perfect source of inspiration for this masterpiece.
