Brand New 2012 VW Santana Sedans Found Abandoned In Chinese Warehouse

The Volkswagen Santana has been a significant part of China’s automotive history since its debut in 1983. It has remained one of the country’s most popular new car choices. The unexpected discovery of five brand new sedans in a warehouse adds an intriguing new chapter to the Santana’s story.

Han Chung Classics, a Chinese aftermarket company specializing in selling parts for older Volkswagens, uncovered the cars. The white sedans, all in factory condition, were found in an undisclosed Chinese location. They share identical hubcaps and black cloth interiors, and according to available information, were never registered for use on the road, with most having close to zero mileage on the odometer.
