Toyota is going all out for Japan Mobility 2023. The automaker will showcase various concepts, one of which is an electric pickup truck called EPU that closely resembles a production model. Could this be a hint at a future Tacoma EV?
According to Toyota, the EPU measures just over 16 feet in length and has a wheelbase of 132 inches. These dimensions align more with smaller trucks like the Ford Maverick. With a width of 6 feet and a height of just under 6 feet, the EPU also targets the smaller truck segment. It features a monocoque structure, similar to the Maverick, and provides seating for five in its small four-door design.
