Storyteller Overland has recently unveiled the Hilt, a rugged off-road camper built on a Ram 5500 pickup truck. This new flagship offering by the RV manufacturer is designed for adventurous travelers looking to venture far off the grid. With a starting price of $398,786, the Hilt will be available for sale in the fourth quarter of this year.

On the outside, the Hilt boasts a rugged appearance with 360 degrees of illumination, featuring large lights above the cab. It also features chunky body cladding and a roof rack for additional storage. The living space is connected to the truck’s chassis using a Zero Torsion Subframe, allowing the two components to move independently. Furthermore, the truck is equipped with an active hydraulic smart suspension system, providing more control over body movement. In case of challenging situations, a 20,000-pound winch is available to help pull the rig out.
