Rüsselsheim, September 19, 2023 – The fully-electric Jeep® Avenger has won the Best Design award in the Small SUV category at the 2023 Auto Motor und Sport magazine “autonis” awards.

Over 14,000 readers of the German magazine participated in the voting process, with the Jeep Avenger securing an impressive 53% of the votes in its category. Readers had the opportunity to choose from 105 passenger car models across eleven classes.

Luigi Saia, Head of Jeep Germany, stated, “The Jeep Avenger was only launched this year and has already become a star. With its all-electric drive and cool design, it inspires customers and is becoming an absolute bestseller. The ‘autonis’ prize for our compact electric SUV confirms that readers and customers appreciate it.”

This recent award adds to the list of accolades already received by the Avenger, including European Car of the Year 2023.

The Jeep Avenger is a compact SUV in the fast-growing B-SUV segment, the second largest segment in Europe in terms of volume. It combines Jeep DNA with a unique combination of capabilities, style, functionality, and technology.

Equipped with an electric range of up to 249 miles on the combined WLTP cycle*, the electric powertrain features a new 400-volt electric motor with 156hp and 260Nm of torque, paired with a new 54kWh battery pack.

The launch of the Jeep Avenger in Europe marks the beginning of the brand’s electrification journey, with plans to release four all-electric models by 2025. By 2030, all new Jeep vehicles sold in Europe will be fully electric.
