Rolls-Royce Shows Off The Exclusive, Specially-Bred Phantom Rose

Rolls-Royce is known for its unmatched ride quality, configuration, design, and luxury features. It is considered to be in a league of its own in the world of automotive luxury. One of the unique ways in which Rolls-Royce expresses its elegant brand is through a specially bred flower called the Phantom Rose, which can only be found in the courtyard of Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood home.

The Phantom Rose, showcased in one of Rolls-Royce’s recent Instagram posts, was bred exclusively for Rolls-Royce. It has a delicate, pale color with 50 petals and a strong scent. The rose was bred by Philip Harkness, a renowned rose breeder whose family has been in the craft since 1879.

Commissioned by Rolls-Royce Bespoke Designer Sina-Maria Eggl, the Phantom Rose grows in a specially-designed bed that also features lavender and is located next to reflection ponds. The rose bed serves as inspiration for Rolls-Royce Bespoke’s designers, who can observe it through the Sir Nicholas Grimshaw Plant’s floor-to-ceiling windows as they work. This exclusive flower is a testament to the far-reaching impact of Rolls-Royce’s aspirational legacy and reputation in the automotive world.
