Porsche recently unveiled the Mission X concept as part of their 75th-anniversary celebrations, showcasing their vision for a future electric supercar. Now, the automaker is giving us a glimpse behind the scenes of the vehicle’s development process.

The design team at Porsche spent approximately a year working on the Mission X, referred to internally as XS23. They started by conceptualizing the vehicle’s shape and eventually created a life-size clay model. Throughout the development process, the goal was to produce a car that seemed ready for immediate production.
