Mitsubishi Mirage To Be Discontinued In The US By 2025: Report

According to an Automotive News report, the Mitsubishi Mirage, known for its affordability and simplicity as a small hatchback and sedan, will be discontinued in the US. Insiders suggest that both the five-door Mirage and four-door Mirage G4 will be dropped from the lineup by the middle of the decade.

If this information proves to be true, the Mirage will join the growing list of cars that have been phased out in recent years as consumer demand leans towards crossovers and SUVs. Recent research from Cox Automotive indicates that last month, the Mirage was the only model priced below $20,000. The hatchback starts at $16,245, while the sedan begins at $17,245, before factoring in destination and handling fees.
