Loncin’s Premium Subsidiary Voge Unveils RR 666 S Sportbike In China

Chinese motorcycle brand Voge, a premium subsidiary of Loncin, has recently introduced a new sportbike called the RR 666 S. This model could potentially shake up the middleweight segment, but it’s uncertain if it will be available outside of China.

Voge, known for supplying engines to BMW, is elevating its technological game with the RR 666 S. The sportbike features a 660cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, inline-four engine rumored to produce around 100 horsepower. Notably, this engine is said to be original, distinguishing itself from Loncin’s history of reverse-engineering established manufacturers’ engines. The RR 666 S is equipped with dual-overhead camshafts, 16 valves, and reportedly has a redline at 13,000 rpm.

Performance-wise, the Voge RR 666 S impresses with claimed stats that include a 0 to 61-mile-per-hour sprint in approximately 3.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 150 miles per hour (240 kilometers per hour). To handle this power, the bike comes with adjustable suspension components from KYB and dual radially mounted disc brakes from Brembo. Additional tech features include ABS and traction control, although it’s unclear if these rider aids will be powered by an inertial measurement unit.

While there is a possibility of the RR 666 S being available internationally, it is common for Chinese bikes to remain exclusive to the domestic market. If it does venture beyond China, it would compete with other middleweight sportbikes, many of which are powered by parallel-twin engines, such as the Aprilia RS 660 and Yamaha YZF-R7.
