The exhibition, which will run from September 26, 2023, to March 31, 2024, will take place at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group’s corporate museum located inside the Kobe Maritime Museum. This exhibition will showcase the 70-year history of Kawasaki’s motorcycle business, including the iconic models that played significant roles in the brand’s success. Notably, Kawasaki’s entrance into the American market in the 1960s and 1970s was a pivotal moment that contributed to the brand’s international achievements.

Among the motorcycles to be showcased at the exhibition is the Kawasaki J1 from 1966, which was one of the first Kawasaki models to be sold in the US. The exhibition will also feature the Kawasaki H1 Mach III, a famous two-stroke 500cc sportbike produced between 1969 and 1975. Another notable model is the Kawasaki 650-W1, which entered the US market in 1966. The exhibition will also showcase the iconic Kawasaki Z1, a pioneering machine that shaped modern motorcycles.

The 70th Anniversary exhibition will be open to the public from September 26, 2023, to March 31, 2024. Visitors can view the exhibition at the Kobe Maritime Museum in Chuo-ku Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
