Infiniti is preparing to unveil its new design language with the QX Monograph concept at the 2023 Pebble Beach Automotive Week. This event marks a significant turning point for Infiniti as it represents a bold evolution in their approach to vehicle design.
The global debut of the Infiniti QX Monograph concept will showcase the future direction of the automaker’s styling language. The vehicle has robust proportions and striking design elements that give a glimpse of what’s to come. The evolution of Infiniti’s double-arched grille and the innovative “digital piano key” lighting have attracted particular attention.
The grand reveal will take place on August 17, at 10 a.m. on the Concours awards ramp at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. Attendees of the press conference will have the opportunity to get a close look at the concept’s styling features, guided by Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president of global design, and other Infiniti executives.
In addition to the QX Monograph, Infiniti will also be featured at the Japanese Automotive Invitational (JAI). JAI will showcase various Japanese vehicles, including highly detailed quarter-scale design models from Nissan Motor Co. These models were instrumental in previewing future designs before the widespread use of CAD and 3D graphics. This will be the first time that four of these models, including the 1916 DAT 41, 1966 Prince Skyline 2000-GTB, 1970 Nissan Skyline H/T, and 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R, will be shown publicly at JAI.
The event will highlight some of Infiniti’s current models, including the QX Monograph concept, the QX60 luxury crossover, and the Q50 RED SPORT. The Q50 RED SPORT features a stunning, color-changing iridescent paint scheme reminiscent of the legendary Midnight Purple seen on the 1995 Skyline GT-R model.
The 2023 Pebble Beach Automotive Week is not just a showcase of cars; it is a celebration of innovation, design evolution, and a glimpse into the future of luxury vehicles.
