You can control your Apple TV using your Apple Watch in two ways: through the Remote app and the Now Playing app. First, ensure that your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV and that your Apple Watch is linked to the same Apple ID as your Apple TV.

To use the Remote app, follow these steps:

  1. Launch the Remote app (blue play button) on your Apple Watch.
  2. If your Apple TV is not listed, tap on Add Device.
  3. Open Settings on your Apple TV.
  4. Navigate to Remotes and Devices > Remote App and Devices.
  5. Choose your Apple Watch.
  6. Enter the passcode displayed on your watch and wait for the pairing icon to appear, confirming a successful connection.

Alternatively, if you want to use the Now Playing app, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Open Now Playing on your Apple Watch.
  2. If your Apple TV is not the default device, tap the back button and select your Apple TV from the list.
  3. Select the More icon (three horizontal dots).
  4. Tap on TV Remote.
