You can control your Apple TV using your Apple Watch in two ways: through the Remote app and the Now Playing app. First, ensure that your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV and that your Apple Watch is linked to the same Apple ID as your Apple TV.
To use the Remote app, follow these steps:
- Launch the Remote app (blue play button) on your Apple Watch.
- If your Apple TV is not listed, tap on Add Device.
- Open Settings on your Apple TV.
- Navigate to Remotes and Devices > Remote App and Devices.
- Choose your Apple Watch.
- Enter the passcode displayed on your watch and wait for the pairing icon to appear, confirming a successful connection.
Alternatively, if you want to use the Now Playing app, here’s what you need to do:
- Open Now Playing on your Apple Watch.
- If your Apple TV is not the default device, tap the back button and select your Apple TV from the list.
- Select the More icon (three horizontal dots).
