Honda eNy1

The Honda eNy1 is a visually striking car with its optional Aqua Topaz blue paint and sleek design. The slimmed-down headlights, stylish wheel designs, and rear light bar blend seamlessly with the black and chrome exterior trim.

Underneath its exterior, the eNy1 is powered by a 68.8kWh battery that provides a range of 256 miles (WLTP) and can be charged at speeds of up to 78kW. While the charging speed may not be the fastest, Honda has prioritized sustained higher rates over rapid charging figures to prevent battery deterioration and maintain range. Charging the eNy1 from 10% to 80% takes approximately 45 minutes.

This electric car is driven by a front-mounted motor that produces 201bhp and 229lb ft of torque, giving it similar power to rivals such as the ID 4 and Kia Niro EV. It can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 7.6 seconds.

The eNy1 offers three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. While Sport mode enhances performance and adjusts the steering, most of the driving experience is done in a combination of Eco and Normal modes, both of which provide sufficient acceleration.

Driving the eNy1 in urban areas is a pleasurable experience with its satisfying power delivery and light steering. It has a smooth suspension that easily absorbs bumps, offering a comfortable ride for both the driver and passengers. The eNy1 delivers better comfort than the Model Y and handles well on winding streets and tramlines. It even performs admirably on off-road dirt surfaces.
