Girard-Perregaux Reveals The New Laureato Absolute Light & Shade

Girard-Perregaux, the luxury Swiss watch brand, is known for continually innovating its collection by incorporating new ideas and materials into its iconic models. The Laureato, first introduced in 1975, has become a staple for Girard-Perregaux and has been part of creative collaborations with brands like Aston Martin. Now, Girard-Perregaux is excited to announce the release of its latest timepiece, the Laureato Absolute Light & Shade.

The standout feature of the Laureato Absolute Light & Shade is its metalized sapphire crystal case, which weighs only 85 grams. The dial has an openworked design that showcases Girard-Perregaux’s meticulous craftsmanship and highlights the in-house GP01800-1143 movement.

The self-winding mechanical movement powers the hours, minutes, and small seconds functions of the Laureato Absolute. It also offers an impressive 54-hour power reserve. The backcase of the watch is transparent sapphire, allowing for a mesmerizing view of the movement in action. The outer part of the backcase features commemorative engravings.

The Laureato Absolute Light & Shade is designed to be worn every day, and Girard-Perregaux has equipped it with a comfortable black fabric effect rubber strap and folding clasp.

The all-new Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Light & Shade is now available through authorized dealers for a price of $99,600.
