While Musk’s acquisition of Twitter was already surrounded by controversy, the rapid pace of its transformation into X has been criticized by some analysts as a major mistake. According to a recent comment from a branding expert to Bloomberg, “It took more than 15 years to build up that level of worldwide equity, so losing the Twitter brand name would be a significant financial setback.”
