Ranking the Top 5 Most Expensive LEGO Sets Ever Released

Coming in at number five on the list of the most expensive LEGO sets ever made is the Titanic, with the product code 10294. Despite not being associated with a popular franchise like “Star Wars” or “Lord of the Rings,” the iconic luxury cruise ship inspired a record-breaking movie and remains one of the most famous vessels in history.

The Titanic model is part of LEGO’s Icons series, which features other notably pricey sets such as the Eiffel Tower and Roman Colosseum. This Creator Expert exclusive set was launched on November 8, 2021, and had a retail price of $679.99. It is expected to be retired by LEGO sometime in mid-to-late 2024. Once it goes out of production, its resale value is projected to reach at least $828.

This set is a 1:200 scale replica of the actual RMS Titanic and consists of an astonishing 9,090 pieces, making the assembly quite time-consuming. However, it does not include any minifigures, so you won’t find a ship captain or even Rose and Jack figures to play with. Additionally, a model iceberg is not included in the set.
