To address this, Samsung has introduced a new feature called Pause USB Power Delivery, specifically designed for gaming. This feature redirects the incoming power while charging directly to the phone’s CPU, bypassing the battery. Normally, when gamers plug in their phones while playing, the CPU and the battery heat up due to the workload. But with Pause USB Power Delivery enabled, the battery remains cool, resulting in improved performance.
- Open the Game Launcher app.
- Tap on “More” and select “Game Booster”.
- From the available options, enable “Pause USB Power Delivery”. This feature will work when your S23 is plugged in.
It’s worth mentioning that Pause USB Power Delivery is compatible not only with Samsung chargers but also with any USB-PD charger.
