BMW is known for constantly updating its successful lineup of crossovers and SUVs. Recently, they launched the X2/iX2, followed by the facelifted X5 and X6. In 2022, they introduced the striking XM, a third-gen X1, and an updated X7. Now, BMW is testing the new 2024 X3 to compete with rivals like the Mercedes GLC and Audi Q5.

The spy photos primarily show a lower-end version of the X3 without the M Sport Package. Despite the wheels appearing small compared to the body, they are actually 20 inches, which is still quite large. This demonstrates how vehicles have grown in size over the years, and the next-gen X3 is expected to be even bigger. This enlargement is likely to keep a safe distance from the larger X1, which now measures 177.2 inches (4500 millimeters) in length.
