2024 Audi S3 Sportback Spied Hiding Facelift During Nürburgring Test

It is well-known that Audi plans to launch its last batch of combustion engine-powered models in 2025. From 2026 onwards, all new Audi products will be electric vehicles. Therefore, the current-generation A3 will be the last Audi model to offer internal combustion engine power, similar to its cousin, the VW Golf. As a result, the upcoming mid-cycle facelift for the A3 in 2024 will serve as the final update for the gasoline/diesel compact car.

The S3, which is part of the A3 lineup, is also getting its last hurrah in the era of internal combustion engines. The high-performance hatchback has been spotted undergoing rigorous testing at the Nürburgring track. It is covered in camouflage at the front and rear to keep its changes under wraps. Given Audi’s focus on its electric future, it is not surprising that the facelift for the A3/S3 won’t bring major changes. However, we can spot some updates such as revised headlights and a redesigned front bumper with a potentially smaller grille.
