2024 Genesis GV60 RWD Addresses the Biggest Issue with EVs

The 2024 Genesis GV60 Standard RWD starts at $52,000, while the GV60 Advanced AWD and GV60 Performance AWD models have starting prices of $60,550 and $69,550, respectively. However, one problem highlighted in SlashGear’s review of the 2023 Genesis GV60 remains unresolved – the limited availability of the vehicle in North America. Currently, the GV60 Standard RWD and GV60 Advanced AWD are only available at select retailers in 23 states, and the availability of the GV60 Performance AWD has not yet been announced.

Despite this limited availability, the 2024 Genesis GV60 should not be disregarded as an option for those looking to purchase a new EV, especially considering its increased range. The new model also introduces several standard features, including a Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Highway Driving Assist II, and Advanced Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist. With a powerful performance of 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, it can outpace some sports cars off the line. Additionally, the interior of the GV70 is luxurious and sophisticated, comparable to Genesis’ gas-powered models.

Interestingly, the GV70 is also available in its internal combustion engine (ICE) form, which explains the slightly awkward name of the Electrified GV70.
